Nell Terrell Medley, age 84, of Smithville passed away Sunday morning, March 13, 2022 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital in Smithville. 

 Ms. Medley was a member of Webbs Chapel United Methodist Church and was a Factory Worker.

 She was born June 13, 1937 to her parents, the late John and Arlena Ashburn Terrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth "Bud" Medley; siblings, Daisy Ferrell, Rosa Allen, Ferman Terrell, Bernice Terrell, Laura Ruth Hughes, Ernest Ray Terrell, and Lela Summers.

 She is survived by one sister, Betty Moss of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews also survive. 

 Funeral service was held Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. David Hill officiating and burial followed in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

 Pallbearers included Davey Ferrell, Keith Ferrell, David Terrell, Roth Terrell, John Terrell, and Michael Terrell.

 The family ask donations be made to Webb's Chapel United Methodist Church in memory of Ms. Medley.  

 DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.
