Neodia Frazier Cantrell, age 80, of Dowelltown passed away Friday afternoon November 5, 2021 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville.  

 She was a member of the People’s Pentecostal Church. Neodia worked at Genesco and Texas Boot for many years.  

 She was born June 14, 1941 to her parents, the late James Douglas and Altie Ashburn Frazier.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Cantrell; son, Danny Cantrell; sisters, Hazel Frazier and Virginia Hendrixson; brothers, Azero, Norman, Henry, Lester and Junior Frazier.  

  She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Donald (Tammy) Cantrell of Dowelltown and Dwight (Carol) Cantrell of Pikeville; daughter-in-law, Brenda Cantrell of Dowelltown; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jonathan) Flatt, Jessica (Jeremy) Govero, Nicole Vientos, Chase Cantrell, Bryan (Mary)  Cantrell, and Heather (Caleb) Shehane; step-grandchildren, Erin (Austin) Tobitt, Corey Clark, Josh (Sarah) Wallace and Daniel Wallace; several great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; sister, Marie (Horace) Bratcher of Dowelltown; brothers, Leo (Mildred) Frazier of Chattanooga, Roscoe (Pauline) Frazier of Dowelltown and Garlon (Ann) Frazier of Liberty; two sisters-in-law, Robbie Joan Frazier of Dowelltown and Ruth Prinzivalli of Smithville; bother-in-law, Joe Hendrixson of Liberty and several nieces and nephews also survive.  


Funeral service was held Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bros. Ricky Scott and Michael Hale officiating. Burial followed in Burton-Ponder Cemetery

 Serving as pallbearers were Caleb Shehane, Jonathon Flatt, Chase Cantrell, Jeremy Govero, Bryan Cantrell, and Braxton Cantrell.

 DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
