Omega Robinson Hayes, age 90 of Smithville, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday July 4, 2019 at The Webb House.
She was a member of the Allen's Chapel United Methodist Church and retired from Chrysler Corporation.
Omega was born March 24, 1929 to her parents, the late
Clifton and Ethel Hullett Robinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by her daughter, Mary Hayes; three brothers, Edward, Charles and Carl
Robinson; four sisters, Calysta Pedigo, Delia Foutch, Lois Williams and Mary
Washer.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, James (Debbie)
Hayes of Rock Island; six grandchildren, Jamie Whiteaker of Centertown, Scott
Hayes of Murfreesboro, Eric Hayes Murfreesboro, Troy Thomas of Lascassas, Chris
Thomas of Lascassas, Megan Lann of Crossville; 10 great-grandchildren, Alex and
Alyssa Hayes, Luke and Lexie Hayes, Allyson and Kensley Whiteaker, Tessa
Thomas, Kelsea, Kyler and Raymond Lann; three great-great-grandchildren,
Remington, Regan and Reeves Thomas; one sister, Jo (Jesse) Baker of Smithville;
one brother, Brisco (Jean) Robinson of Smithville and several nieces and
nephews also survive.
Funeral service was conducted Sunday, July 7, 2019 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bros. Phil Tollett and Stewart Orell officiating. Burial followed in Whorton Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers included Scott Hayes, Eric Hayes, Luke Hayes,
Chris Thomas, Troy Thomas, and Shayne Whiteaker.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge
of the arrangements.
