Funeral services for Opal Lois Kitchings , 98, of Alexandria were held Dec. 7, at New Hope Baptist Church. Ben Bolton and Shane McCoy officiated with burial following at New Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Kitchings passed away Dec. 2 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in New Albany, MS.She was a certified music teacher at Alexandria and Brush Creek Schools.She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Foutch and Daisy Malone Foutch; husband, Charlie Boyd Kitchings; sister, Lucille Malone and Anna Foutch.She is survived by her daughter, Lyna (Charles) Rorie of Oxford, MS.; grandchildren, Robin (Ben) Bolton Oxford, MS; and James W. (Kapie) Rorie of Memphis; great-grandchildren, Rorie, Benjamin and Ann Lindsey Bolton, Maverick and Lexie Grace Rorie.Pallbearers included; Ben Bolton, Benjamin Bolton, James W.
