A celebration of the life of Patricia Ann White was held on Jan. 7 at the Dowelltown United Methodist Church in Dowelltown. Pastor Matthew Long was the officiator. The church was filled with family and friends as they remembered with joy their “Patricia.”
Miss White passed from her earthly life on Dec. 22 at DeKalb Community Hospital in Smithville. She was a retired registered nurse.
Survivors include her parents, James H. and Ruth White of Dowelltown; two brothers, Bobby and Sarah White of Alexandria and Stephen and Vicky White of Murfreesboro; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth and Bryan Kleparek of Murfreesboro, James White of Dowelltown, Stephanie and Aaron Lawrence of Murfreesboro, John White of Baxter, Tamera White of Dowelltown, Daniel and Caralee White of Smyrna; great nieces and nephew, Kyra and Keva Kleparek, Logan and Carly Lawrence and Taylor Ann White; an aunt, Lorraine and Richard Engle of Oak Ridge; and an uncle, Michael Thompson of Odessa, Texas. Many cousins and friends also survive. Also surviving are special friends, Susan Driver, Donna Emerson, Annette Floyd and Barbara Medlin.
It was Miss White’s wish to be cremated which was handled by DeKalb Funeral Chapel.
