Funeral services for Paul Howard Cantrell, 56, of Smithville were held at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Tommy Culwell and Michael Hale officiated with burial following in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
He passed away May 10 at his Mother’s residence.
He was the son of the late Howard Cross Cantrell and Billie Sue Humphrey Jones.
Paul worked with Smithville Electric  for 23 years.
He is survived by his mother, Billie Sue Jones of the Green Hill Community; daughter, Erin Cantrell Pryor of Smithville; two step-brothers, Jeff Jones and Carlton Jones both of the Green Hill Community;  one step-sister, Debra Culwell Newby of the Green Hill Community; two aunts, Shirley Meade of Mississippi and Margie King of Sparta.
Pallbearers included; Eddie Rowland, Ritchie Knowles, Keith Randolph, Jeremy Ashburn, and Jim Mason.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.
