Graveside services for Emory Paul Kirksey, 94, of Chattanooga, were held July 23 at DeKalb Memorial Gardens with Bro. Mark Bass officiating.
Mr. Kirksey passed away July 22 at Hickory Valley Retirement Center in Chattanooga. He was a WWII veteran, a retired air traffic controller with the FAA and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife Deanne Paris Kirksey.
Survivors include his brother Rufus Clayton Kirksey; nephews Kenneth and Phillip Kirksey; a niece Tina Barger; a step-sister Dorothy Hinton Jinks; and a stepbrother Cecil Hinton.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
