Funeral services for Paulette "Mammie" Mingle, 66, of Gassaway will be held July 9 at Clear Fork Methodist Church. Bro. Bobby Charles Martin will officiate, with burial in Sycamore Cemetery.
She passed away July 5 at Stones River Hospital.
Mammie was a caregiver at Pacesitters in Mcminnville and was a homemaker. For over 10 years, she and her husband Bobby would drive to Murfreesboro to pick up food for Feed the Children every Friday. They rarely missed a day. A wonderful wife, mother and Mammie, she was a great example of what a Christian woman should be.
She was a member of the Clear Fork Methodist Church and a member of the Eastern Star, Chapter 504, of Woodbury.
Mrs. Mingle was preceded in death by her parents, Elton Linsey Mason and Bessie Blankenship Mason; her siblings, Herbert Womack, Jean Ralph, Joe Womack, Alma Cantrell, Bea Gosnell, Connie Hammonds and Decie Crouch.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Bobby Mingle Sr. of Gassaway; four children, John (Becky) Mingle of rock Island, Bobby Mingle, Jr. (Priscilla) of Gassaway, Felisa (Steven) Coppinger and Billy (Donna) Mingle all of Woodbury; grandchildren, Dustin (Samantha) Mingle, Justin Mingle, Nathan (Christian) Mingle, Dakota Gillmore, Dalton Stewart, Candance (Will) Bell, Dalton Coppinger, Nikki (Steven) Mears, Brittany Mingle (Kevin Vanatta), Chevenne and Hagan Fann; great-grandchildren, Zoie Mingle, Mathew Mingle, Jeffery Lynn Mingle and Elijah Aaron Bell; siblings, J.C. Womack, Kenneth Mason, Billy (Violet) Mason all of McMinnville and Carolyn (Hubert) Turner of Keltonberg.
Woodbury Funeral home, Woobury, Tenn., was in charge of the arrangements.
