Funeral services for Paulette Stanley Bain, 66, of Smithville were held January 7 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Dan Gulley officiated, with burial following in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

She passed away Jan. 3 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital ER.

She was born April 25, 1949 to James and the late Dean Campbell Stanley.

Paulette was a faithful member of the Smithville Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday School for over 30 years, she was a retired nurse that gave her all to her patients she cared for.

She is survived by her husband, Randy Bain of Smithville; daughter, Tammy Moser of Antioch, TN; father, James Stanley of Smithville; brother, Steve Stanley of Smithville; special niece, Karem Coker of Berry, AL; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Larry Bain of Smithville; special friends, Joanie Williams, Rita Lankford, and Margaret Ferrell.

Pallbearers included; Scott Cripps, Kyle Coker, Bradley Trapp, Mike Gann, Jack Rhody, Doug Hooper, Billy Frazier, and Jimmy Hendrixson.

Honorary Pallbearers: Mark Bain, Dewayne Bain and Bobby Lee.

In addition to flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Missionary Fund at the Smithville Church of Christ, any Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice.

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville was in charge of the arrangements.
