Pauline Hutchens age 81 of Smithville, passed away Monday morning, March 7, 2016 at St. Thomas Mid-Town in Nashville. She was born August 3, 1934 to her parents, the late Everett Love and Ida Louise James Hutchens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 sister, Annie Louise Hutchens and 1 brother, Jerry Hutchings, Sr. Pauline was a Baptist and a restaurant worker. Survivors include 1 son, Paul (Alice) Hutchens of Smithville; 4 grandchildren, Ashley Mooneyham (Raymond Lippart), Andrew Hutchens, Tiffany (Bobby) Price, and Bridget Hutchens (Rainey Howell); 1 great-grandson, Raymond Dale Lippart, IV; 3 sisters, Dorothy Baines, Mary Chapman (Jay) Young, and Loretta Wall all of Smithville; 1 brother, Edward (Janie) Hutchings of Smithville; sister-in-law, Doretta Hutchings of Smithville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:PM Thursday, March 10, 2016 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial to follow in Whorton Springs Cemetery. Visitation with the Hutchens family will be on Wednesday 11AM until 8PM and Thursday 9AM until the time of the service at 2PM. In addition to flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, in memory of Pauline. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
