Funeral services for Peggy Joyce Bissonette, 68, of Smithville were held Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home.

Bro. Jonathon Willoughby officiated with burial following in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

She passed away at NHC of Smithville.

She was affiliated with Mt. Herman Baptist Church, a retired waitress with Chicken Real, and Captain D’s Restaurants, and also worked at the Smithville Shirt Factory.

She was preceded in death by husband, Charles Rackley; grandson, James Pittard; parents, Ben and Betty Jo Chapman Vanatta; three brothers, Jerry, Charles, and David Vanatta.

She is survived by two daughters, Paulette and husband, Charlie Evans of McMinnville, Annette and husband, Mike Gaus of Smithville; two grandchildren, Cody and Hunter Keaton both of McMinnville; step-mother, Josephine Vanatta of Smyrna; four sisters, Linda Davis and Carolyn and husband Jimmy Neal both of Smithville, Pam and husband, Steve rice, and Crystal Taylor both of Smyrna; several nieces, nephews and special sister-in-law, Judy Vanatta of Smithville.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville were in charge of the arrangements.
