Peggy Scott, age 71, of McMinnville passed away Tuesday December 1, 2020 at St. Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro. 

 She was a retired factory worker having worked several years at Genesco and Federal Mogul and a member at Old Short Mtn. Methodist Church. 

 She was born June 25, 1949 to her parents, the late Frank and Betty Sue Hale Sullens. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by Sister: Jonell Bratcher; Brother: Frank Sullens. 

 Survivors include her husband of 48 and a half years Donnie Scott of McMinnville; son, Brian (Tracey) Scott of McMinnville; granddaughter, Hattie Scott of McMinnville; sister: Regina Saddler of Michigan; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. 

 Funeral service was held Friday, Dec. 4, 2020 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bros. Chris Anderson and Bill Robertson officiating. Burial followed in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. 

 Serving as pallbearers were Cole Taylor, Harry Hale, David Bain, Joey Clark, Lynn Cantrell and Wayne Wood.

 DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.
