Phyllis June Criswell Sherwood, 97, of Smithville and a native of Indiana passed away Oct. 12 at DeKalb Community Hospital.A memorial service service will be held later. Mrs. Sherwood was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Church in North Judson, IN. and a member of the Happy Homemakers Club.She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas H. and Hazel May Coonrod Criswell; husband, Glenn Sherwood; son, John Sherwood; daughter, Diane Sherwood; brother, Tommy; sister, Mary.Mrs. Sherwood is survived by daughter-in-law, Phyllis SherwoodCincinnati, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Betty (David) Stone, Sarah (Mike) Hutmier, Amy (Fred) Dunlea and Richard ( Teri) Sherwood all of Cincinnati, Will (Jen) Sherwood of Smithville, Bob (Jen) Sherwood of Dayton, Jim Bender of Cincinnati; 14 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.SMITHVILLE REVIEWSmithville, TNOctober 23, 2013
