Mr. Ralph Arnold, Jr. age 90 of Smithville, TN, died Monday, February 01, 2016, at N.H.C. Health Care in Smithville, TN. He was born October 25, 1925, in DeKalb County, TN, was a retired employee of Genesco and a member and deacon of New Bildad Primitive Baptist Church. Mr. Arnold was preceded in death by parents Ralph Arnold, Sr. and Nettie Arnold Johnson, son Jewel Reed Arnold, grandson Gary Robinson, and a sister Lois Chapman.  

Survivors include his wife of 70 years Ethel Christine Arnold, son Ricky Lynn (Debbie) Arnold, grandchildren Dennis (Gina) Arnold, Joseph (Christy) Arnold, great-grandchildren Adam, Jordan, Sam, Bryson, Yasmin and Lealon Arnold, step great-granddaughter Kealah Curtis, daughter-in-law Christeen Arnold, sister Nell (Dean) Snyder, brother-in-law Cordell Chapman, niece Mellanie Chapman and nephew Kip Snyder. Several other family members and friends also survive.  

Funeral service will be 2 PM Friday, February 05, 2016 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Elder Jeff Winfrey and Elder Paul Violet will officiate. Interment will follow at DeKalb Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Smithville, TN. The Arnold Family will receive friends Thursday from 3 PM until 8 PM and again Friday from 10 AM until the time of service at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.  

Memorial donations may be made to New Bildad Primitive Baptist Church.
