A celebration of life service for Ralph Lee Bradford, 83, of Smithville was held May 25, 2014 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Mike Campbell and Bro. Jim Moore officiated with burial following in the Puckett Cemetery with Military Honors.
Mr. Bradford passed away May 23, 2014 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
He was a member of Trinity Assembly of Algood, a retired rural mail carrier, bus driver, grocery store owner, mechanic, volunteer fireman, devoted hunter and fisherman. He was an U.S. Army veteran serving in the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Opal Austin Bradford; wife, Jo Puckett Bradford; and son, Alan Bradford.
He is survived by children, Teri (Hugh) Davenport of Celina and Greg (Gina) Bradford of Smithville; daughter-in-law, Suzanne (Bill) Gash of Smithville; grandchildren, Brad (Beth) Davenport, Jennifer (Rodney) Langford, Matt (Brittany) Davenport, Mandy (Paul) Talley, Chase (Kesha) Bradford, Cory Bradford, Alli (Andrew) Moore, Adam Lindsey and Mathew Lindsey; great grandchildren, Isaiah, Nolan, Anaiah, Emmy, Andrew, Elianah, Ezalee, Mahala, and Rellen; sister, Sondra Hawkins of Sparta; fishing buddies, Clyde Medley and Bobby Bare.
Pallbearers included Brad Davenport, Matt Davenort, Chase Bradford, Cory Bradford, Rodney langford and Andrew Moore.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.
