Memorial services for Ralph Rowlands, 60, of Dowelltown, were held June 30 at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Charlton Thomas and Victor Rowlands officiated.   
Mr. Rowlands passed away June 27 at DeKalb Community Hospital. He was a machinist with Tenneco, a veteran of the United Kingdom Royal Corp. of Signals and was a member of the British Legion; and was affiliated with the Church of England.   
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Georgina Cissie Rowlands; two brothers, Dick and John Rowlands; and a sister, Joan Salisbury.
He was the loving and caring husband to his wife, Shanna Diane Rowlands of Dowelltown. He is also survived by his son, Charlton Thomas Wilson of Jupiter, Fla.; a brother, Victor (Michelle) Rowlands of South Pittsburg, Tenn.; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
