Randy David Bain, age 68, of Smithville passed away Tuesday March 22, 2022 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital in Smithville. 

Randy was an Electrical Wiring Technician and affiliated with the Church of Christ. 

He was born August 5, 1953 to his parents, the late Creston Bain and Joyce Ervin Maynard. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Paulette Bain; half-brother, Brent Bain; infant siblings, Kenny, Pam and Jeff Bain; father and mother-in-law, James and Eunice Stanley. 

Survivors include daughter, Tammy Moser of Antioch; brother, Larry Bain of Smithville; niece, Karem (Kyle) Coker of Fayetta, Al.; nephew, Creston Bain of Smithville; Several nieces, nephews and cousins; Step-Father, Bobby Maynard, Sr.   

Funeral service was held Saturday at DeKalb Funeral Chapel and burial followed in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. 

Pallbearers included Dewayne Bain, Bradley Trapp, Creston Bain, Mark Bain, Kyle Coker, and Saxton Bain.

In addition to flowers, family ask that donations be made to Happy Haven Home, a Christian Home for children in Putnam Co, those donations can be made at the funeral home. 

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, is in charge of the arrangements.
