Funeral services for Katherine Faye Hooper Rawls, 74, of Baxter were held Dec. 14 at Dekalb Funeral Chapel.

 

Bro. Michael Hale officiated burial followed in Whorton Springs Cemetery.

 

She passed away Dec. 11 at St. Thomas Midtown in Nashville.

 

She was born April 27, 1940 to her parents, the late Albert Lee and Flora Trusty Hooper.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Mike Trotter; two sisters, Maurene Florida and Doris Hooper Cripps, one brother, Eugene Hooper.

 

Katherine was a beautician and a member of the Pentecostal-Holiness Church.

 

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Rawls of Baxter; two sons, Jeffrey Mike Trotter of Murfreesboro and Gregory Scott Trotter of Basket, Kentucky; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; five sisters, Milas Hibdon of McMinnville, Peggy (Clayton) Parsley of Smithville, Mildred "Bill" (W.J.) Poss of Smithville, Dean Johnson of Smithville, and Sue Banker of Sparta; one brother, Hoyte (Edna) Hooper of Smithville; several nieces and nephews also survive.

 

Pallbearers included; David Johnson, Adam Banker, Danny Barnes, Jimmy Barnes, John Poss, and Jim Poss.

 

Honorary Pallbearers included; Loyd Blish, Larry Blish, Ricky Barnes, Joey Cripps and Jim Florida.

 

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville was in charge of the arrangements
