Funeral services for Ray Nell Adcock, 79, of Smithville were held April 19 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Wallace Caldwell and and Bro. Johnny Adcock officiated with burial following at Jefferson Cemetery. 
Mr. Adcock passed away April 17 at DeKalb Community Hospital. He worked with DeKalb Siding Service and was affiliated with the Baptist Church. 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Raymond Adcock; parents, James Otis and Bessie Lou Young Adcock; three brothers, Jewell Brown, Manuel and James Adcock; and sister, Irene Adcock Turner.
Survivors include his companion, Diane Pirtle; two sons, Everett Steve (Yoko Susuki) Adcock of San Jose, Calif. and Michael Leo (Greta) Adcock of Smithville; grandchildren, Celiena Adcock, Adam (Gretchen) Adcock of Calif., Matthew Adcock of Smithville; three brothers, Franklin (Faye) Adcock, Mitchell (Imogene) Adcock, Albert (Christine) Adcock; sister, Katie Adcock; and sister-in-law, Mary Adcock.
Pallbearers included Cody Allen Brock, Ricky Adcock, Derwin Adcock, Mark Luna, Shannon Adcock, and Charles Adcock.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, LLC, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
