Funeral services for Ray S. Wiggins, 78, of Dowelltown were held May 23 at Liberty United Methodist Church. Bro. Wilson Williams and Bro. Bobby Charles Martin officiated with burial following at Salem Cemetery.
Mr. Wiggins passed away on the night of May 20 at DeKalb Community Hospital ER. He was a retired electrician and a member of Liberty United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Selma Wiggins; brothers Gary and James Wiggins; sisters Ruth Bush and Edna Wiggins; and a son Kenny Kilgore.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years Judy Wiggins of Dowelltown; two daughters Rose Wiggins Fish of Dowelltown and Tonya (Tom) Coode of Murfreesboro; a son Aubrey Kilgore of Brush Creek; grandchildren Timmy (Lacy) Barnes, Terry Barnes, Chad Barnes, Cody Kilgore, Turner Spears, Alex Coode, Kayla Kilgore and Chrissy Kilgore; five great-grandchildren; and two brothers Charles Wiggins of Goodlettsville and Roger Wiggins of Hendersonville.
Pallbearers included Terry Barnes, Timmy Barnes, Turner Spears, Jerry Montgomery, Johnny Keaton and Darry Driver.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
