Funeral services, for Raymond Caldwell, 85, of Smithville were held July 11 at  the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Bryan Jones and Bro. Dwight Knowles officiated with burial following at Whorton Springs Cemetery.  
Mr. Caldwell passed away July 8 at Alvin C. York Medical Center in Murfreesboro. He was retired from the City of Smithville and attended Pomeroy Chapel Brethern in Christ. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Jacob and Lena Ferrell Caldwell; two daughters, Tammy and Melissa Caldwell; four brothers, J.W., Wade, Norman and Lonnie Caldwell; two sisters, Nannie Mae Hale and Lois Moon.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Caldwell; one daughter, Patricia and Donnie Bratcher all of Smithville; three sons, Jimmy and Debbie Reeder of Paris, Tenn., Frankie and Reta Caldwell and Nelson and Linda Caldwell all of Smithville; 11 grandchildren, Shayne and T.J. Reeder of McMinnville, Frankie Wayne and Mary Ann Caldwell, Shannon and Mark Stanick, Tina and Dale Pack, Karen and Jared Knowles, Greg and Leighann Cripps, Jason Cripps, Raymond Tyler Caldwell, Abbey Caldwell all of Smithville, and Sabrina and Keith Farler of Dowelltown; 19 great-grandchildren, Shayla, Jathon, Courtney, Alexis, Justin, Jordan, Brian, Bradley, Cody, Kirstyn, Aniston, Marshall, Isaac, Katherine, Madison, Jacob, Evan, Kerrigan and Alanis; two brothers, Bruce and Roxie Caldwell, Zeb Caldwell; two sisters, Flonnie Vanatta and Dorothy Young Miller all of Smithville.
Pallbearers included Ricky Caldwell, Ronnie Caldwell, Eric Caldwell, James Lee Johnson, Tony Reeder, and Tommy Hooper.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
