A graveside service for Reda Juanita Patrick, age 72, of Smithville was held Feb. 1 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Morrison.
Reda passed away Saturday night, Jan. 27 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. She was a retired restaurant worker and a garment and shoe factory worker and a member of the Non-Denominational Church.
She was born June 14, 1945 to her parents, the late Riley Monroe and Pearlie Lou Randolph Bumbalough.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Patrick and two sisters, Irene Foster and Elenora Ann Cooper.
She is survived by one daughter, Janice K. Patrick and life partner, Sandy Rupp of Indianapolis, IN; two sisters, Dorothy Patrick of Smithville and Bessie M. Matthews of Byrdstown; one brother-in-law, Horace “Doc” Matthews of Byrdstown; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Nephews and family served as pallbearers.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
