Redmon

Funeral services for Mr. Terry Redmon, 72, of Lebanon were held Dec. 12 at Ligon and Bobo Funeral Home. Rev. Rob Simms officiated interment followed at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

He passed away Dec. 9 at the Pavillion.

Born June 9, 1942, in DeKalb County, he is the son of the late Henry Clarence and Evelyn Ours Redmon.

He was a 1960 graduate of DeKalb County High School, and retired from Dupont where he worked as an electrical engineer. He attended Joy Church in Mt. Juliet. He loved Bible study, sports, biking and hiking.

He was preceded in death by grandson, Daniel Hamby; sister, Phyllis Bennett.

He is survived by his wife, Phylus Stewart Redmon; two children, Jeffrey (Heidi) Redmon, Melanie (Butch) Hamby; sister, Faye Fuqua; grandchildren, Caroline (Brian) Foster, Matthew, Katherine, Gracie, and Jonathan Hamby, Anna and Luke

Pallbearers included; Matthew Hamby, Brian Foster, Bert Driver, Greg Driver, Milburn Rodgers, and Billy Hendrixson.

Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home, Lebanon was in charge of the arrangements.
