Funeral services for Jeanette Redmon, 76, of Smithville were held Feb. 16 at the Chapel of DeKalb Funeral Chapel.

 

Bro. Tim Bennett officiated, with burial in the Jefferson Cemetery.

 

She passed away Feb. 14 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville.

 

She was born December 1, 1938 to the late Erby and Mabel Turner Jones.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Redmon; three sisters, Aletha Adcock, Thelma Earman, and Violet Jones.

 

She was a member of the Upper Helton Baptist Church and a retired shirt factory worker.

 

She is survived by two children, Tonia (John) Bass of Sparta and Patrick (Annette) Redmon of Lebanon, Ohio; two grandchildren, Brandy (Kris) Hale and Marin Redmon; three great-grandchildren, Morgan, Macey, and Nixson Hale; two sisters, Rebecca Ervin of Smithville, and Jewell (Jerry) Wiser of McMinnville; special niece, Pam Page of Smithville; several nieces and nephews also survive.

 

Pallbearers included; Douglas Ervin, Terry Page, Mark Violet, Hayden Ervin, Hunter Stanfield, and Spencer Stanfield.

 

In addition to flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Jefferson Cemetery in memory of Jeanette.

 

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville was in charge of the arrangements
