Remega Kaye Nelson, age 59 of Graysville, passed away Tuesday night, September 11, 2018 at her residence. She was a homemaker and a member of the Sequoya Holiness Church.
She was born February 15, 1959 to her parents, George Walton Combs and Mary Ella Bilbrey Combs Halferty.
She was preceded in death by three children, Michelle Beasley, Leighanne Cripps and Nickey Reese, Jr. and one brother, George Thomas Combs
Survivors include her husband, Kelly Nelson of Graysville; three grandchildren, Madison Leigh Cripps, Kaylor Landon Reese and Megiabell Leighanne South; mother, Mary Halferty of Dayton, OH; father, George Combs of Miamisburg, OH; two sisters, Lola Marie Centeno and Dana Lynn Plewe both of Dayton, OH; two brothers, Richard Walton Combs of Bellbrook, OH and Donald Edward Halferty of Dayton, OH.
Funeral service was conducted Friday, September 14, 2018 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial followed in DeKalb Cemetery.
Pallbearers included Ricky Combs, Lola Centeno, Carl Centeno, Tom Plewe, Austin Combs, Donnie Halferty, Danny Lemons, and Greg Cripps.
