Funeral services for Henry Wade Reynolds, 88, of Alexandria were held Aug. 27 at the Chapel of Anderson Funeral Home.

Bro. Ronnie Smith officiated, with burial following in Hillview Cemetery.

He passed away Aug. 24 at NHC Healthcare in Smithville.

He was born July 28, 1927 in DeKalb County to the late Robert Dewey Reynolds and Thelma Willoughby.

He was a farmer and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 68 years, Dolores Reynolds.

He is survived by his sons, Bobby Sherrell (Carolyn) Reynolds, Jeff (Barbara) Reynolds all of Alexandria; grandchildren, Dana (Matt) McKinney, David (Monica) Reynolds all of Alexandria, Jeffrey David (Danielle) Reynolds, and Tim (Jenna) Reynolds all of Smithville; great-grandchildren, Cadence Reynolds, Tatum Reynolds, Dallas Reynolds, Kelby Milton, Kinsey Cooper, Levi Reynolds, and Molly Reynolds; great-great-grandchild, Maverick Knight.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations may be made to Mt. Zion Cemetery Fund in his memory.
