Funeral services, for Rickey Lynn Cantrell, 48, of Smithville were held June 22 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Michael Hale officiated with burial following at Cantrell Cemetery.  
Mr. Cantrell passed away June 20 at DeKalb Community Hospital. He was a carpenter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gentry Edward Cantrell and his brother, Eddie “Buck” Cantrell.
Survivors include his daughter, Victoria Brooke Cantrell of McMinnville; mother, Mary Elizabeth Cantrell of Crossville; two sisters, Barbara Farmer of Smyrna and Peggy (Phillip) Stewart of Smithville.
Pallbearers included Brian Young, Phillip Stewart, Gabriel Cantrell, Russell Clark, Danny Gibbs, and Rickey Bly.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, LLC, was in charge of the arrangements.
