Memorial services for Rickey Lynn DeVault, 57, of Dowelltown were held October 15 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel.

Bro. Michael Hale officiated.

He passed away October 11 at his residence.

He was a Baptist and was a former employee with the City of Smithville Water Department.

Rickey was preceded in death by one daughter-in-law, Kim Curtis DeVault; four brothers, Tony DeVaught, Larry Ferrell, Gary Ferrell and Charles Ferrell.

He is survived by four children, Mackie (Shannon) Pollard of Hickman, Johnny DeVaught of Smithville, Carrie (Ryan) Lyons of Smithville, and Samantha DeVault of Smithville; one step-daughter, Marina Cornette of Smithville; 13 grandchildren; mother, Opal Atnip of Smithville; father, Mack (Louise) Harris of Spring City; five brothers, Scott Ferrell, Terry Ferrell, Chris Ferrell, and Jeff Ferrell all of Smithville, and Wayne Ferrell of Manchester.

Rickey’s request was to be cremated.
