Robbie Dean Young, age 93, of Rock Island, passed away on July 2, 2025, at her residence.

Robbie was a dedicated employee, having retired from Kingston Timers, and was a Baptist.

Born in DeKalb County on January 13, 1932, she was the beloved daughter of the late John and Pairalee Robinson Fuson.

She is survived by her loving niece, Melinda (Terry) Raper of Rock Island, her sister-in-law, Helen Young Faul (Rodney), along with several nieces and nephews. Robbie was preceded in death by her husband, Reece Young, her parents, John and Pairalee Robinson Fuson, her brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Clara Fuson, and her sisters and brothers-in-law, Callie and VL Wilson, and Nell and Ramsey Young.

The funeral service was held on Saturday, July 5, 2025. Bro. Rodney Faul officiated the service and burial followed in Peeled Chestnut Cemetery.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
