Funeral services for Robert Lee “Bob” Wall, 90, of Bowling Green, Ky., were held April 22 at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Don Davidson officiated with burial following at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Wall passed away April 19 at Hospice of Southern Ky. He was a retired TVA Area Supervisor; member of the State Street United Methodist Church; served in the U.S. Army and was a WWII Veteran; graduated from the University of Tenn. at Knoxville with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cordie B. and Laura Green Wall; four brothers, Clinton and Maureen Wall, Green and Maud Wall, B.C. and Ruby Wall, Alton Gentry Wall; brother-in-law, J.B. Redmon; and great-nephew, Luke Barnett.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Wilma Lucille Curtis Wall of Bowling Green, Ky.; son, Jim (Julia) Wall; daughter, Jan Alexander both of Smtihville; two grandsons, John (Heather) Wall of Louisville, Ky., and Daniel Alexander of Knoxville; granddaughter, Jenny (Doug) Lynch of Orlando, Fla.; two great-grandsons, Chase and Cole Wall; great-granddaughter, Sarah Lynch of Fla.; sister, Ruth Wall Redmon of Smithville; two sisters-in-law, Bobbie Barnett of Ga. and JoAnn Wall of Smithville. He was dearly loved by many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers included John Wall, Daniel and Jim Alexander, Doug Lynch, Michael and Phillip Barnett..
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
