Robert Michael Eaton, age 68, of Silver Point passed away Friday night November 5, 2021 at his residence.

 He was born July 10, 1953 to his parents the late Bobby and Margaret Stewart Eaton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Morgan Eaton; siblings, Professor Harvill Eaton, and Connie Eaton.

 Mr. Eaton was affiliated with the Lebanon Road Church of Christ. He was a Musician, Singer/Songwriter, member of Nashville Songwriter Association, and a Grand Ole Opry Alumni.

 He is survived by son, Mike (Penny) Edwards of Smithville; daughter, Allison Vantrease of Knoxville; grandchildren, Cori Edwards, Kayla Cook, Maddie Cook; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Derrick, Charles Derrick and Annalise Dale.

 The family has chosen a direct cremation and a private service will be held at a later date.  

 DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, is in charge of arrangements.
