Funeral services for  Robert William Tramel, 71, of Smithville were held Feb. 24 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Kenneth Clayton and Bro. David Tramel  officiated with burial following at  Snow Hill Methodist Church Cemetery.
He passed away Feb. 19.
He was the son of the late Charlie Luther and Lillie Mae Davis Tramel.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by granddaughter, Kendal Hawkins; two brothers, D.C. Tramel and Jim Roy Tramel; one sister, Judy Tramel.
Robert was a  retired construction worker, a member of the Webb’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Margaret Tramel of Smithville; nine children, Loretta Lynn Bales, Delores Johnson, and Teresa Ann Tramel all of Chattanooga, Darlene Yvonne Beach of Murfreesboro, Robert Jeffrey Tramel of the Philippines, Sandy Pauline Tramel of Kentucky, Sherry Williams of Smithville, April Lynn Davis Hawkins of Readyville and Travis Clint Tramel of Smithville; 21 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Tramel and David Leon Tramel both of Smithville; two sisters, Lou Bell Bain of Smyrna and Dorothy Ferrell of Jacksonville, Florida.  
Pallbearers included; Ryan Hawkins, David Stewart, Cory Cantrell, Jason Reeder, Mark Holland, and Arvil Terry.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.
