Funeral services for Roberta T. Ellis, 91, of Dowelltown were held June 25 at chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Billy Hale and Bro. Steve Puckett officiated, with burial in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

She passed away June 22 at DeKalb Community Hospital.

She was a long time member of the Snow Hill Baptist Church, a homemaker and a retired factory worker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Lee Ellis;parents, William Charlie and Emma Florence Robinson Turner; four sisters, Ola Walls, Lucille Pascal, Charlie Mai Young, and Sula Turner; five brothers, Lemmie, Frank, Clyde, Erby and Carl Turner.

She is survived by one daughter, Dora Fay Turner of Dowelltown; three grandchildren, Jonathan Turner of Nashville, Jennifer and husband Rich Wisthuff of Hermitage and Jamie Turner of Dowelltown; one great-grandchild, Emma Catherine Wisthuff of Hermitage.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, Tenn., was in charge of the arrangements.
