Funeral services for Ronnie Joe Love, 68, of Smithville were held May 19 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Dwayne Cornelius and Bro. Michael Hale officiated with burial following at Whorton Springs Cemetery. Mr. Love passed away May 19 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Evelyn Young Love and brother, Danny Love. Survivors include his two children, Lori Ann Kelsey of Smithville and Wade Love of Lebanon; two grandchildren, Leslie Love of Smithville and DaKota Kelsey of Smithville; two great-grandchildren, Riley Pegg and Cameron Morris; and sister, Ruth Stimemann of Lebanon. Pallbearers included Dakota Kelsey, Tim Young, Kent Smithson, Tom Vickers, Thomas Love, and Bob Loring. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Bebo Robinson, Sam Turner, Donald Puckett, Pete Love, and Johnny Ball. DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville was in charge of the arrangements.
