Funeral services for Rose Marie Adcock, 83, of Dowelltown, were held July 6 at the chapel of Love Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Larry Steffee officiated with burial following at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Adcock passed away July 3 at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband Haston C. Adcock; two sons Danny L. Adcock and Ronald J. Adcock; six brothers Albert, Woodrow, Charles, Toby, Gordon and Bobby Banks; and three sisters Jessie Melton, Margaret Banks and Omega Banks.
Survivors include her three sons Gary Adcock of Smithville, Eddie and Kimberlee Adcock of Michigan and Kenneth Adcock of Arizona; six grandchildren Matthew and Monica Adcock of Colorado, Anthony Adcock of Smithville, Kyle and Kory Adcock of Michigan, Holly and Dale Bryant of Smithville and Johnathan Adcock of Smithville; five great-grandchildren Eddie, Makenzie and Madison Adcock of Colorado, Devin Thomas and Destiny Thomas of Smithville; a great-great-grandson Zayne Thomas of Smithville; and several niece and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers Matthew Adcock, Anthony “AJ” Adcock, Kyle Adcock, Kory Adcock, Dale Bryant and Devin Thomas.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
