Funeral services for Ruth Jane Young Sutton, 88, of Smithville were held Jan.17 at Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Dennis Arnold officiated with burial following at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.She passed away Jan.15 at DeKalb Community Hospital.She was a retired factory worker and was affliated with the Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Sutton; parents, Bobby and Lydia Young; one daughter, Betty Swan and one grandson, Brian Swan.She is survived by two sons, Billy (Linda) Sutton of Smithville and Danny (Teresa) Sutton of McMinnville; one daughter, Sue McCoig of Smithville; four grandchildren, Steve Swan of McMinnville, Michelle Patton of Rock Island, Kati Minton and Kyle Sutton both of McMinnville; four great-grandchildren, Chase Swan, Taylor Swan, Allie Patton and Lake Minton.Pallbearers included Gary Smith, Charles Allen, Donnie Pedigo, Michael Alexander, Chase and Zach Minton.DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.SMITHVILLE REVIEWSmithville, TNJanuary 22, 2014
