Sally J. Troyer Potts, age 64, of Smithville passed away March 10, 2022, at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital ER from injuries received in an automobile accident.  

She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ, a caregiver and homemaker. 

She was born March 5, 1958, to her parents the late, John R. and Amanda Yoder Troyer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, R. C. Potts.

Ms. Potts is survived by siblings, Mary J., Rudy J., Andy J., and Lovina J. Troyer; friends, Charlie Lawson, Jessie Mashburn and her Church Family. 

Funeral service was held Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Charlie Lawson officiating and burial followed in Jennings Cemetery. 

Serving as pallbearers were Jerry Lawson, Issac Lawson, Jeremy Lane, Charles Bell, LeRoy Bowman and Joe Tittle.

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.
