Sandlin

Graveside services for James Edward Sandlin, 81, of Watertown were held Nov. 30 at the Hillview Cemetery in Alexandria.

He passed away Nov. 27 at Kindred Health Care in Carthage.

He was the son of the late Olvie and Willie Sandlin.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Elizabeth Sutton.

James was a graduate of Liberty High School and was a carpenter.

He is survived by a sister, Eva Nash of Chapel Hill; three nieces, Gayle (Ronnie) Boles of Brush Creek, Brenda (John) Ivy and Debra Wesson both of Chapel Hill; four great-nieces and two nephews also survive.
