Adkins

Shannon Dwight Adkins age 29 of Smithville passed away Sunday morning April 17, 2016 in Kentucky. 

He was born August 12, 1986 to Daryl Adkins and Tammy Bevins.

Shannon was a Glass & Door Installer and a Baptist. 

He was preceded in death by step grandfather Michael Hollon.  Funeral services were held Thursday at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Stacy Jernigan officiating and burial followed at DeKalb Cemetery.

Survivors include 3 children: Addy Adkins, Kollin Adkins both of Pikeville, Ky., and Aubrey Elkins of Morristown, Tn.; Mother: Tammy Bevins (Michael Williams) of Smithville; Father: Daryl Adkins of Pikeville, Ky.; 1 Brother: Ean Dakota Adkins of Wayne Co., Tn; Maternal Grandparents: Paulette Hollon of Cookeville, Gary (Kathy) Bevins of Pikeville, Ky.; Paternal Grandparents: Lois Ailene Adkins of Pikeville, Ky., Don Adkins of Pikeville, Ky.; Numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins also survive.  

Pallbearers included: John Evans, Chad Johnson, Brandon Taylor, Brian Allison, Chris Allison, Bradley Taylor, and Greg Coleman.

Honorary Pallbearers: Caleb Taylor and Jacob Williams

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville were in charge of the arrangements.
