Sharon Kaye Truett Ausbrooks, age 61, of Watertown died Thursday, Aug. 6 at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital.

She was a member of the Liberty Hill Presbyterian Church and a machine operator for Sheppard’s Specialty Papers of Watertown.

She was born in Birmingham, Alabama to Clyde Truett and Sarah Faye Purser.

Her parents preceded her in death.        

Survivors include her husband, Terry Phillips of Watertown; a daughter, Devon Truett of Watertown; grandchildren, Adrian Simmons, Jr and Jaythan Truett of Watertown; sisters and brother, Nancy Stanley of Prosperity, Clyde Jr. and Connie Truett of Gallatin and Rhonda and Dennis Bass of Alexandria; nieces, Paige Bass, Alesha “Nikki” Bass, and Makenna Lomas.

The family chose direct cremation.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Anderson Funeral Home, Alexandria, is in charge of the arrangements.
