Funeral services for Steve White, 52, of Smithville were held Jan. 4, at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Bill Robertson officiated, with burial following at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.Mr. White passed away Jan.1 at DeKalb Community Hospital.He was a Member of Elizabeth Chapel Church, City Alderman for 12 years, a member of the Tennessee Downtowns Committee and a Rural Route Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.He was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bobby and Barbara Colvert; nephew, Bryan White; sister-in-law, Kathy White.
