Funeral services for Danny Beckwith Stoots, 70, of Smithville were held July 27 at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Kevin Stoots officiated with burial following at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

He passed away July 22 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

He was a self- employed truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Eunice Beckwith Stoots.

He is survived by one son, Kevin and Michelle Stoots of Michigan; special friends, Rick and Gail Stewart and Bill and Betty Cameron all of Smithville; God sons, Colt and Lacy Stewart and Hunter and Jessica Stewart both of Smithville.

Pallbearers included; Rick, Colt, and Hunter Stewart, Donnie, Billy and Bill Cameron.
