Dyer

Syble E. Dyer, age 88, of Morristown, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 in Smithville, Tennessee.

She was a long-time member of Central Baptist Church and her love for Jesus was the greatest thing in her life.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Dyer; parents, Richard and Bessie Stroud; four brothers; three sisters; and two step-brothers.

She is survived by her children, Patty (Ed) Seal of Smithville, TN, John Mark Dyer of Smithville, TN, and Gay Dawn (Lieutenant Colonel, Chuck) Assadourian of Triangle, VA; grandchildren, Tim (Danya) Seal, Rachel (Jimmy) Martin, Jonathan Assadourian, and Sarah Assadourian; great-grandchildren, Braden Martin, Jayci Seal, Kiley Martin, Kason Seal, Nate Martin, and Carter Seal; brother, Robert Stroud; sisters, Ella Mae Goan and Gladys (John) Voorheis; several nieces and nephews; and special caretaker, Shelbi Eldridge.

Funeral services were held Friday, January 13 at the funeral home. Interment followed at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Mosheim.  

Westside Chapel Funeral Home, Morrison, TN was in charge of the arrangements.
