Terry Edwin Ferrell, 51, of Smithville died Thursday, October 29, 2016 at his residence.
He was a farmer.
The funeral was held Monday at 1 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home.
Bro. Burnes Lyons officiated with burial following in DeKalb Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jewell Brown Ferrell; five brothers, Larry, Gary, and Charles Ferrell, Ricky and Tony Devault; mother-in-law, Frances Anderson; paternal grandparents, W.J. and Annie Ferrell; maternal grandparents, William Earl and Helen Burdette DeVault.
Survivors include his wife, Maggie Anderson Ferrell of Smithville; two step-children, Shondra Rose of Sparta and Michael and Sierra Collins of Cookeville; mother, Opal Atnip DeVault of Smithville; three brothers, Jeffery Brown Ferrell, Scott Alan Ferrell, and Christopher Derrick Ferrell of Smithville; father-in-law, Joe Anderson of Cookeville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friends, Tony Davis, Mike West, and Nathan Dowell of Smithville and Roy Hale of Auburntown; and an aunt, Faye Wells of Dayton.
The family asks that donations be made for funeral expenses.
Pallbearers included; Ronnie Lattimore, Michael West, Nathan Dowell, Chris Ferrell, Billy Crook, Ray Hale, Roger Linder, and Cody Murphy.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, was in charge of the arrangements.
