Mrs. Thelma B. Monhollen Jones, age 86 of Sparta, passed away August 20, 2013 at her residence.
Mrs. Jones was born February 9, 1927 in Woodbine, Kentucky to the late George & Mary Alice Williams Monhollen. She was a retired beautician, baker and former factory worker. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband James Jones in 1972; daughter Alice Jones; her nine siblings.
Survivors include her son, Rodney Jones and wife Gwen of Quebeck; daughter: Sherry Jones of Sparta; and grandson: James Jones of Sparta
 A graveside service was held Aug.23 at Wilson County Memorial Park in Lebanon.
Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
