Thelma Jean (Jones) Earman, 77, of Harrisonburg, Va. died Sept. 22, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Earman was born May 11, 1934 in Smithville and was the daughter of the late Erby and Mabel Jones.
She worked at Sancar for 33 years and was a member of Ray of Hope Pentecostal Church.
She was married to Myrle H. Earman Jr. for 25 years, who preceded her in death on Oct. 6, 1979. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Aletha Adcock and Violet Jones.
She is survived by a son, Rev. Jeffrey M. Earman, and wife, Teri, of New Market; daughters, Vickie L. Halterman, and husband, Bobby, of Bridgewater, and Tongia G. Good, and husband, Gene Jr., of Timberville; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jeanette Redmon, Rebecca Ervin and Jewel Wiser; and three foster children, Cris, Lorrie and Jamie.
Funeral services were held Sept. 25 at Kyger Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisonburg. Pastor James Kite and Rev. Joshua Earman officiated with burial following at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
