Thomas Eugene "Tommy" Napier, 55

Thomas Eugene "Tommy" Napier, 55, of Smithville, passed away Saturday evening, June 22 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital. 

He was a Baptist, U.S. Army Veteran and a factory worker. 

He was born Nov. 27, 1963 to his parents, Donna Blades Napier and the late Thurman A. Napier.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two nieces, Stacey Powell and Amy Napier Miller. 

He is survived by one son, Mathew (Christy) Napier of Cookeville; mother, Donna Napier of Smithville; three sisters, Carol (A.J.) Bain of Smithville, Jane (Rickey) Mathis of Liberty, Nancy (Dimitrios) Vafeas of Sarasota, Fla.; one brother, Gregory Alan Napier of Smithville; several nieces and nephews also survive. 

Funeral service was conducted Wednesday, June 26 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Michael Hale officiating. Burial followed in DeKalb Cemetery. Pallbearers included Ryan Crips, Dusty Bain, Justin Reeves, Brandon Johnson, Nelson Davis, and Cody Barlow.

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
