Funeral services for Margaret Tramel, 52, of Smithville were held Sept. 25 at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Chris Mears and Bro. David Tramel officiated with burial following at Snow Hill Methodist Cemetery.

She passed away September 23 at her residence.

She was a homemaker, and affiliated with Webb’s Chapel United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Tramel; parents, Jeff and Ollie Durham Mears; one brother, Aubrey Mears.

She is survived by daughter, April (Ryan) Hawkins of Readyville, one son, Travis Tramel of Smithville; five grandchildren, Kyra Agee, Justus, Jaya and Jaiden Tramel, and Kylee Davis all of Smithville; eight sisters, Edna Young, Florence Cox, Treva (Paul) Hutchins, Maggie Lance, Joyce Davis all of McMinnville, Laura Davis of Smithville, Anita (Joe) Reed of Woodbury, Roberta Collins of Shelbyville; five brothers, Thomas (Dorothy) Mears, Johnny (Valerie) Mears, James (Faye) Mears, Charlie Mears all of McMinnville, and George Mears of Woodbury.

Pallbearers included; Ryan Hawkins, Joe Ferrell, George Mears, Ricky Young, Jackie Young, and Jimmy Tramel.
