Funeral services for Truitt Parker, 78, of Statesville were held June 17 at Prosperity Baptist Church. Bro. Leonard Herman officiated, with burial following at Prosperity Cemetery.Mr. Parker passed from this life June 14 at DeKalb Community Hospital.He was born September 8, 1935 to the late Berle and Mallie B. Herman Parker.He was a farmer and retired employee of the Tennessee Farmer’s Co-op in LaVergne.
