Funeral services for Truman Campbell, 87, of Liberty were held Jan.3 at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Thurman Seber officiated, with burial following at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Campbell passed away Jan.1 at NHC Healthcare Center. He was a member of Prosperity Baptist Church and a retired farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Odus Gilmore and Nonnie Hayes Campbell; one son, Odus Clyde Campbell.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Fannie Bell Pitts Campbell of Liberty; three daughters, Joan(J.C.)Hughes of Auburntown, Joyce (Bobby) Hendrixson of McMinnville, Brenda (Rick) Cantrell of Smithville; two sons, raymond (Debbie) Campbell of Brush Creek, Rex Campbell of Auburntown; 14 grandchildren, Cindy (Sam) Garrison, Cody (Kayla) Hughes all of Auburntown, Jennifer (Jason) Brown of Woodbury, Travis Hendrixson, Christopher Fletcher both of Smyrna, Cayla and Chelsey Cantrell, Carrie Hale and Nelson Hendrixson all of Smithville, Jayne Hendrixson of Sparta, Shane and Rochelle Campbell, Kelli and Kerry Lollar, Derrick and Amy Campbell, all of Brush Creek, Bryan and Shelley Campbell of Alexandria;18 great grandchildren; one brother, Jack (Ann) Campell of Liberty, one sister, Mary (Jimmy) Clark of Alexandria.
Pallbearers included; Travis Hendrixson, Shane Campbell, Cary Lollar, Derrick Campbell, Cody Hughes, Sam Garrison, Jason Brown, Brian Campbell and Christopher Fletcher.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.
